Each pool will have different instructions on how to join and get set up. While we try to work with reliable pool operators, LBRY Inc. does not officially run or endorse any one pool. Miner shows “raw” hashrate, 1% is devfee, other 2-3% can be related to the connection quality, current pool status/luck or/and may be something else. Miner is not a virus, add it to Defender exceptions. For these years, a lot of people used my miners and nobody confirmed that my miner stole anything or did something bad. Note that I can guarantee clean binaries only for official links in my posts on this forum . If you downloaded miner from some other link – it really can be a virus.

Anyone care to share command line for supernova? I seem to not be able to get it to start. Eth is just a bit faster reporting steady 30.95MH per card, on top of that I am getting 0.464GH (1.9GH with sgminer) dcr per GPU. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box. Im using dwarfpool proxy and trying to run it. My miner fails to initialize when I execute it.

The EVGA CLASSIFIED 980ti does not hash ETH much faster than a GTX 970, but it has greater compute power. This difference is shown in the large increase in hashrate for the secondary coin by just increasing the “dcri” intensity value. There is room for experimentation here. You also should specify non-zero value for “-tt” option to enable this option. Attempts to cheat and remove dev fee will cause a bit slower mining speed (same as “-nofee 1”) though miner will show same hashrate.

Often when OpenCL fails, you have to reboot the system, not just restart miner. Sometimes even soft reboot won’t work and you have to press Reset button. It is because the fail is at drivers level, Windows does not like such things and drivers too. “-strap 6” values (1…3 are normal straps and 4…6 are low-intensity straps).

I pack my miners to prevent disassembling. Some paranoid antiviruses treats any packer as a virus. I’m trying to fix it, but not sure that it is possible for all antiviruses. You will not see full hashrate on pool immediately, you have to wait for 24 hours at least.

Why have I been blocked?

To enable it, use “-rxboost 1”, you can use your own straps or use “-strap” option, you will get boost anyway. If your card is unstable, you can specify custome boost value (2..100), for example, “-rxboost 5”. You can also specify values for every card, for example “-sintensity 10,0,100,30”. You can also specify values for every card, for example “-strap 1@2100,POL4H3,0”. This option is necessary only if you want to install or uninstall the driver separately, miner anyway installs signed driver automatically if “-strap” option is used. By default, low power states have low voltage, setting high GPU clock for low power states without increasing voltage can cause driver crash.

Nvidia cards are better suited for LBC mining and perform very well. The watchdog timer checks periodically if any of the GPUs freezes and if it does, restarts the miner. Catalyst allows miners to get paid directly in Bitcoin instead of LBC.

Start “EthMan.exe” from “Remote management” subfolder . Effective Ethereum mining speed is higher by 3-5% because of a completely different miner code – much less invalid and outdated shares, higher GPU load, optimized OpenCL code. Improved support for systems with more than 10 GPUs, check readme for “-di” and “-mode” options description for details. Added “-rxboost” option for AMD Polaris cards, use “-rxboost 1” to improve hashrate by about 5% by applying some additional memory timings.

But you won’t find any mention on whether if the coin is resistance to ASIC or not. Every pool has a different interface but the principle stays the same. Are there any mining pools?

Depending on your residential electricity rate and the size of your mining operation you may decide to host your rigs with a third-party colocation. Typically the hosting facility will charge a flat rate per kWh for setup, ensuring proper operations, electricity and ongoing maintenance. FPGA’s are a bit more specialized hardware that have higher mining efficiencies than GPU’s for LBRY but also are more flexible than hardware like ASICs used to mine Bitcoin.
